Probably the most popular Scottish ski resort and easily accessible from the A9 (the main linking Perth and Inverness) Cairngorm Mountain offers challenging skiing in scenic surroundings.
 
Having the only Funicular railway in Scotland you do not need to be a skier to enjoy ride to the Ptarmigan Top Station to enjoy the amazing panoramic views of this outstanding mountain range and National Park. This station also offers Scotland's highest restaurant, shop, mountain exhibition and viewing terrace.

Walkers and climbers must follow essential conservation guidelines and only descend using the funicular after walking up. Of course during winter months the best way down in by skis or snowboard.

With seven green runs, six blue, eight red and one black piste the resort offers a wide range of routes, with the longest run running 3.3 kms. In total, 12 lifts including the funicular train service the resort.

There is also a terrain/fun park for freestyle fans and a sledging park for children and big grown-up kids too.
