Birthplace museum of Scotland’s greatest missionary-explorer, set in 20 acres of parkland and woodland garden. Important collection of Livingstone's personal belongings including expedition and navigational equipment, original diaries and notebooks, and even the famous red shirt Livingstone was wearing when he met Henry Morton Stanley, who uttered the famous greeting ‘Dr Livingstone I presume?’! The parkland, play park, woodland garden, shop and café are all free entry to public. Admission charges apply to museum.
