Self Catering on the Isle Of Mull

No island holiday on Mull would be complete without exploring its fantastic selection of beaches. From rustic pebble and shingle beaches to white sands and blue skies which rival any exotic location there is great variety to be enjoyed around the island’s three hundred or so miles of coastline. You’ll find beaches easily accessed with no more than a drive, bus trip or leisurely stroll but with a bit of extra physical exertion there are more remote locations to be sought out (and often the chance to get the secluded shores to yourself!)

Mull has a rich history and is believed to have been inhabited since the last Ice Age, while Iron Age remains and abandoned crofts dating back to the Highland Clearances have been found on the island. With plenty to explore during your self-catering holiday and a varied selection of events throughout the year including cyclocross and reportedly “The Best Rally in the World” you’ll want to go there yourself just to find out what’s the story…
