Glass-Bottomed Boat Trips

Kyle of Lochalsh

Operating within the marine special area of conservation at Kyle of Lochalsh, the Atlantis gives you a unique opportunity to explore the rich diversity of marine life in waters recognized as being of international conservation importance.

GlassBottomedBoatKyle4.jpgOn Scotland’s only award winning semi-submersible glass bottom boat you can not only see what is happening in this unknown world, you can feel part of it too, an experience you will never forget.

GlassBottomedBoatKyle3.jpg The Lochalsh marine special area of conservation is set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery in the world – all of this is opened up to you, as we cruise to see the abundant wildlife above AND below the waves.

Some trips (coinciding with low tide) include a chance to explore the amazing WWII shipwreck, HMS Port Napier - a 500ft minelayer that sank in 1942 and has been voted one of the best dives in Britain. Hear the exciting story of how she met her end, and see the changes that sixty-five years beneath the waves have wrought!

There is always a very good chance of seeing Otters, as Lochalsh is the best location in the UK to see them, more than 300 sightings from Seaprobe Atlantis in 2010!

Season
April to October
Trips start between 10.00am and 10.30am and continue at regular intervals throughout the day.
All shipwreck trips coincide with low tides.
