Cairngorm Ski Conditions
Run Conditions: Fresh, overnight snow had improved the conditions. We have fresh, powder snow on a firm base. Snowsports in the Ptarmigan Bowl and Ciste Fairway were excellent as are the run from the top to middle via the traverse, Coire Cas and the Gunbarrel. The top two Zig Zags have good cover, but the bottom two are broken, although with the continued snowfall the narrow runs are starting to gain some width. It is bitterly cold at the top and more snow is forecast for the coming few days. The Army Championships will be held on the 105 in the morning. We hope to reopen it early in the afternoon.
