Cairngorm Ski Conditions

Run Conditions: The main runs offer a complete run from top to middle via the Traverse, 105, Cas and Gunbarrel. Coire Cas, Ptarmigan bowl and Ciste fairway have excellent skiing/snowboarding. The bottom Zig Zags are still broken. We have fresh, powdery snow on a firm base on all these runs. All runs will be assessed by Ski Patrol in the morning. Current weather at 1097m: Current weather: Will be updated in the morning. Weather forecast: Forecast for Tuesday: Broken cloud with scattered snow showers becoming occasional later. Visibility generally good except in the showers. Wind. Westerly 25-30mph. Temp. @900m -2 or -3C Road Status: ROAD OPEN. CAUTION TO BE USED. Maximum vert descent: 400m News from the slopes The wind has dropped and visibility improved sufficiently for snowsports to proceed. It is still too windy to operate any surface drag lifts but the funicular will be making middle station stops to take skiers/boarders back to the top. The run available is from the top to the middle via the Traverse, 105, Coire Cas and Gun Barrel/Zig Zags on fresh powder snow. The first funicular train up is at 9.00, with the last train up at 15.45, and the last train down at 16.30 The sledge park is expected to open. Sledges can be hired from the shop at the top. Due to streams and uneven ground under the snowpack, and for general safety on the pistes we do not allow customers to bring their own sledges up on the Funicular.
