Cairngorm Ski Conditions

Run Conditions: Lots of fresh snow fell yesterday (Monday) from the middle up and it is still snowing. All runs have fresh groomed powder snow and conditions are excellent, the M1 and White lady runs are unpisted. Pisted runs are available from the top to the middle via the Traverse, 105, Coire Cas, Zig Zags on fresh powder snow. The Gunbarrel is much improved and is now almost flat. With the additional snowfall today this should be filling in some of the runs and adding fresh powdered snow onto an established firm base. Current weather at 1097m: Current weather: Overcast and showers falling as snow above 800m, Wind W 15 - 25 mph, temp @ 900m -1C Weather forecast: Forecast for Tuesday: Broken cloud with scattered snow showers becoming occasional later. Visibility generally good except in the showers. Wind. Westerly 25-30mph. Temp. @900m -2 or -3C Road Status: ROAD OPEN. Maximum vert descent: 400m News from the slopes The Scottish Childrens Championships and the Bairns Bucket will now be held at the Nevis Range this weekend. The first funicular train up is at 9.00, with the last train up at 15.45, and the last train down at 16.30 The sledge park will be closed today. Sledges can be hired from the shop at the top. Due to streams and uneven ground under the snowpack, and for general safety on the pistes we do not allow customers to bring their own sledges up on the Funicular.
