Self catering accommodation in Scotland
The following holiday properties have all been recently added to our website.
We are lucky enough to see some truly wonderful houses in our never ending search for great holiday homes. Just occasionally we are blessed to find a cottage that surpasses even our standards! Bona Lighthouse is a prime example. 'A' listed building, this is only one of two inland lighthouses in the country and it has been lovingly and expertly brought back to life from the ruin it once was. The house sits on the very edge of the north end of Loch Ness where the Caledonian Canal runs north to Inverness. The views down the loch are truly spectacular and on a clear day you can see miles down the water to the other end of the loch.
The most romantic retreat we know, The Bona Stables are nestled on the very edge of Loch Ness with the most gorgeous view down the loch. The Stables sits beside the original Lighthouse (now another superb holiday house) and enjoys the same stunning location and superb luxurious yet quirky interiors. Newly renovated from a ruin, think of exposed stonework, tongue and groove panelled walls, a cosy wood burner and all the mod cons you could want.
