Red House sits privately on the quiet single track road linking Badachro and Port Henderson facing the westerly edge of Loch Bad na Achlaise. One of the best things about this area is that you can leave your car at home, and do a lot of exploring on foot from the house. Badachro, about a 20 minute walk, is a very pretty bay where a visit to the local Inn is highly recommended for seafood and fine dining, and boat trips can be arranged from Dry Island. For a longer walk head in the other direction, west, towards Red Point where there are several fine sandy beaches and fine views of Beinn Alligin on the way, not forgetting porpoises, otters, seals and possibly a pod of orca.
