Built by the architect George Pease for his father Lord Gainford, this light and airy property has been updated to include a fresh and welcoming kitchen complete with an oil-fired Aga, ideal for the self catering family holiday. A new private water supply has recently been installed to providing clear purified drinking water. With its exceptional quality the water can be drunk alone or enjoyed with a little dram.

Local bird watching including ospreys, peregrines, ravens, warblers, grebes, divers golf at 9-hole courses in Lochgilphead (12 miles) or Inveraray (37 miles) all forms of motor boating and sailing from nearby idyllic Tayvallich bay visits to sandy bays, intricate passages and secluded coves of nearby Loch Sween on- and off-shore sea fishing and salmon fishing by permit in River Add walking or cycling along Crinan canal bridle path to Crinan basin tearoom many further scenic walks and cycle rides throughout the locality. Day visits to Inveraray Castle & Jail and beautiful Crarae gardens. Exploring Dunadd, Kilmartin glen and its stone circles, find Arduaine gardens seafood restaurants in Tayvallich, Crinan (7 miles), Cairnbaan (9 miles), Ardfern (20 miles).
