Quietly positioned in the friendly village of Connel, Ardlynn is a peaceful and picturesque place to spend a relaxing holiday and an ideal base for exploring this wonderfully scenic area of Scotland.
Set in an elevated position in a quiet cul-de-sac, this delightful cottage has been newly furnished and is light and airy with a spacious, homely atmosphere. The welcoming sitting room leads through to a comfortable large dining conservatory allowing you to enjoy relaxing holiday dinners while appreciating the views in comfort. Patio doors lead out a lovely enclosed garden where you can take advantage of the long summer evenings and watch the sun go down over the loch.
A foot path leads directly to the Connel Bridge creating a bird’s eye view of the dramatic Falls of Lora, also from here many beautiful coastline walks and sandy beaches can be enjoyed and where seals and otters are often spotted. The village itself is within each reach of Oban giving you the ideal opportunity to explore all Argyll has to offer in scenery, wildlife and history.

Connel is just 5 miles from the pretty harbour town of Oban “gateway to the isles” which offers a full range of shops, excellent restaurants with many offering fresh local seafood, leisure centre & swimming pool, cinema, riding centre as well as many sites and activities including an 18 hole golf course, ferries to the Mull and the islands and superb wildlife cruises.
The beautiful surrounding area of Argyll has many wonderful sites including the Historic Kilmartin Glen & museum, Crinan Canal, the bridge over the Atlantic and the Isles of Seil and Easdale, the award winning Cruachan Power Station & Visitor Centre, Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary, forest, glen and coastline walks, cycle routes, picnic sites and some stunning romantic highland castle ruins. For the keen climber, Ben Cruachan at 1126m is the local “Munro” or for the less energetic there are beautiful local sandy beaches to relax on.
