Glenfeochan House is a delightful and much loved family home stunningly positioned in parkland overlooking its own private lake with glorious views to Loch Feochan. 

Wonderfully secluded on a private estate, this impressive baronial-style house has tremendous character and history yet is just 5 miles from the thriving harbour town of Oban.  Surrounded by mature gardens and furnished to the highest standard, this welcoming home offers ample living space and is ideal for family holidays and gatherings.

The beautifully presented drawing room with its sumptuous leather seating, open log fire and stunning views across the loch is sure to create the backdrop to memorable evenings and the rich coloured walls of the large dining room generate a wonderful atmosphere for long, relaxed dinners.  The second sitting room is ideal for those wishing to play games or watch television and the stylish kitchen with its large wooden table and Aga is fully equipped to cater for every cook’s needs.  All the bedrooms are well proportioned and attractively decorated and the four main bedrooms all enjoy fabulous views.

Not only will the tennis court offer hours of entertainment, but the well equipped gym, snooker table, table tennis and table football is sure to delight.  Enjoy hours of fun in the rowing boats on the private 7-acre lake in front of the house or take a stroll round the large walled garden and Victorian Arboretum which dates back to 1840.

This exceptional holiday house is certain to create many happy memories and entice guests back time after time.

Glenfeochan is also perfectly placed for exploring the timeless magic of the west coast, famous for its stunning scenery and dramatic history.  Argyll offers visitors a great variety of activities and days out.  Perfect for hill walkers and mountaineers alike or for those who just want to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings. 

For those who enjoy a bit of town life, Oban has a good range of shops, local attractions and restaurants, many of which serve freshly caught seafood.  During the summer the town comes alive with a host of festivals and ceilidhs, attracting bagpipers, highland dancers, and traditional musicians and singer from all over the world.  Also known as ‘The Gateway to the Isles’ Oban offers day trips to the many local islands including Mull with its miniature railway, the beautiful holy island of Iona, Fingal’s Cave on Staffa plus the magical Herbridean islands of Coll & Tiree, there are also many exciting wildlife cruises & diving opportunities or experience the famous Gulf of Corrievreckan with its whirlpools and standing waves.  You have every chance of spotting a eagles, dolphins or whales.
