Holiday Cottage Details
Nestled in the old smugglers village of Pennan, Creel Cottage is a stone built former fishermans cottage. This cosy holiday home with open plan ground floor has plenty of character including exposed beams, local stone fire surround, bright bedrooms, sea views and is ideal for those wishing to tour the North East.
Best known as the location for the 1983 film “Local Hero” Pennan is set on the North East Coastal Trail along with many other pretty fishing villages and larger towns such as Banff and Macduff. For the history enthusiasts this property has easy access to the Castle Trail and for those who enjoy a wee dram the Whisky Trail is also on the door step.
