This cottage is a rural idyll, tucked away off the beaten track, it is a haven of peace and tranquility, ideal for that romantic getaway.  Nestled at the bottom of a wooded hill there are lots of opportunities to spot wild life, from red squirrels to roe deer and pheasants.  The cottage is charming, built in a tradition Scottish style with a sitting room and kitchen downstairs and two quaint bedrooms with combed ceilings upstairs.  The cottage benefits from a lovely conservatory which has been added.

Activities

Fishing – the River Spey is amongst the best salmon and seatrout rivers in Scotland. Golf – Many beautiful and challenging courses are to be found in the area, including Grantown, Ballindalloch, Boat of Garten and the championship courses of Nairn and Royal Dornoch. Skiing/Snowboarding – Breathtaking views can be enjoyed whilst enjoying great skiing on Cairngorm and The Lecht. Hillwalking – there are 49 munros to be conquered within the Cairngorm range. Mountain biking – the area has miles of tracks to suit mountain bikers of all abilities. Distilleries – Speyside is renowned for its whisky making and there are many distilleries where guest can visit and do a spot of tasting. Watersports –kayaking, sailing and windsurfing are all available locally. Shooting and stalking can be arranged locally. Touring – centrally located this is the ideal base for touring with mountains, beaches and cities all easily accessible. Landmark Forest Theme Park, - a host of attractions at this woodland themed fun park for kids and adults alike from water slides to the giant Ants World play area, Treetop Woodland Walks, climbing wall, high ropes courses and other activities.
