Lochview Loft is a luxurious and unique apartment with stunning views down the entire length of Loch Ness on one side, and over the historic cloister garden on the other – it makes a perfect hideaway within the beautiful setting of this historic abbey and its grounds. This top (third) floor, two bedroom apartment is located in The Monastery and is accessed via the vaulted cloister walk at the heart of the development. Inside, it is stylish and comfortable, and has been furnished and decorated to a high standard – as such it makes an ideal choice for a couple, family or small group wishing to explore the area. This spacious apartment, with beautiful wood flooring throughout, abounds with natural light and enjoys breathtaking views. Elegantly furnished with luxurious colours and fabrics, and decorated with vintage Scottish travel prints and Nessie cuttings, it is something of a contemporary boutique take on highland style!  The open plan living/dining space,  with stunning views of Loch Ness on one side and the cloister garden on the other, has eye-level conservation skylight windows, comfortable seating, and a beautiful dark wood dining table. Entertainment options include a flat screen TV with FreeSat, DVD player, micro hi-fi and a good selection of books, DVDs and games. The kitchen is fitted to the highest standard, with granite work surfaces and top of the range appliances. The chic master bedroom has a king size bed, while the spacious en-suite bathroom has luxury fittings with granite vanity surface and shower. The charming twin bedroom is bright and spacious, while the deep red second bathroom, with bath and black granite vanity surface, is the perfect place to unwind after an energetic day out in the hills! With the use of a double sofa bed in the living space this apartment can accommodate up to six people.

Please note that as there is no elevator service in the building, this apartment is not suitable for people with limited mobility.

Activities

In addition to the many activities that can be enjoyed on site at The Highland Club, the local area offers excellent hill walking, cycling, fishing, riding, field sports, boating and many adventure sports, including white-water rafting and quad-biking for the more adventurous! There are also many castles, gardens, woollen mills and whisky distilleries within easy reach. The west coast, with its stunning romantic beaches, can be reached in a day trip. Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle (Drumnadrochit), Great Glen, walks in and around Fort Augustus, boats going through the locks in the Caledonian Canal (especially summertime).
