Wicket View is a bright and welcoming getaway in an unrivalled location in the Highlands. This second-floor, one bedroom apartment is located in ‘The Raven Wing’ - a newly renovated building that was formerly the science block of the Abbey Boys’ School - and features modern comforts and conveniences within the historic setting of the abbey and its grounds. The property is well equipped throughout and has lovely views, with a real sense of peace and intimacy, while benefiting from all the facilities The Highland Club has to offer. It makes an ideal choice for a couple or small family wishing to explore the area. This apartment has a bright, open plan living-dining space complemented by a subtle highland palette. It features large windows and Juliet balconies that look out towards the trees, expansive front lawn and cricket pitch. Entertainment options include a flat screen TV with FreeSat, DVD player, micro audio system and a good selection of books, DVDs and games. The kitchen area is well stocked and fitted to the highest standard, with granite work surfaces and top of the range appliances. The bedroom, also with lovely views, has a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has high quality fittings with bath and shower over bath, slate flooring, black granite vanity surface, and a large mirror. There is a double sofa bed in the living space to accommodate up to four people.

In addition to the many activities that can be enjoyed on site at The Highland Club, the local area offers excellent hill walking, cycling, fishing, riding, field sports, boating and many adventure sports, including white-water rafting and quad-biking for the more adventurous! There are also many castles, gardens, woollen mills and whisky distilleries within easy reach. The west coast, with its stunning romantic beaches, can be reached in a day trip. Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle (Drumnadrochit), Great Glen, walks in and around Fort Augustus, boats going through the locks in the Caledonian Canal (especially summertime).
