Achnagairn may be simply enormous but it has retained masses of style and character with wood panelled walls, roaring fire, and a sumptuous ballroom that is a fabulous venue for a ceilidh, dinner or wedding. There is a welcoming family kitchen with breakfast table as well as a traditional grand dining room.
The bedrooms are equally dramatic with most having en suite facilities and tempting delights such as marble baths, whirlpools and even a circular bedroom with bath in it. The bedrooms are set over two floors and a courtyard wing and all are of a great standard.
The house is set in 15 acres of ground which is woodland, river and formal gardens and there are marvellous walks and views. This pretty area has delightful beach or hill walks as well as being within easy reach of Inverness and its shops, restaurants and of course airport.
