Ivybank is very attractive "B" listed house - full of original features and charm and ideally situated within walking distance of Inverness city centre, the castle, river, restaurants, shops and theatre. With its oak panelling, beamed hall, gothic carvings, magnificent mahogany staircase and its original fireplaces on the ground floor, it is truly unique! The lounge has a Baby Grand piano if you are musically inclined, and the dining room can also be used as a sitting room, thus offering guests both a quiet lounge and a study/games room. The extra public space there and in the hall makes it an appealing house for groups to spread out when they need to. The landscaped garden is charming and is walled and enclosed making it safe for children but please note that there is a pond so small children will need to be supervised. It is a great spot to return to after exploring the Highlands or the city and you have the best of both worlds – a jumping off point to reach anywhere from the Highlands to Speyside, loch Ness and Skye to name but a few as well as a few minutes walk to good restaurants, pubs and shops. The bedrooms are very well equipped with all three en suite and with flat screen TVs, hairdryers, and clock radios. One bedroom has a 4-poster bed and overlooks the garden whilst another bedroom has its original curved door and its bathroom is in the top of the tower and up a staircase within this room! All the bedrooms are very comfortable and full of character. Accommodation
