Calamura near Forres in Morayshire is a truly delightful holiday cottage set in an outstanding location by the pretty Findhorn Bay which is home to a variety of wildlife. There are dreamy beaches only a short walk away from this delightful holiday property which both adults and children alike will delight in exploring. This self catering holiday cottage is extremely comfortably furnished - filled with antiques and character and you can tell that it is a much loved family home. It is an ideal property for enjoying with family or friends who like a relaxed atmosphere and a traditional yet welcoming and stylish house. The lounge benefits from an open fire, a delight to return to after a day out or simply to enjoy the warmth on cooler evenings. The lounge windows look out across Findhorn Bay, allowing the most to be made of the view and there is a very pretty garden for children to play or you to enjoy a BBQ. It is a short stroll into this famous and charming village and there are pubs and restaurants for when you do not want to self cater. Findhorn is a wonderful place and Calamura is an enchanting holiday house.

With a wide variety of activities and visitor attractions in the area you should not be short of things to see and do.  Morayshire is home to a number of whisky distilleries and you may choose to follow the whisky trail.  There are also many sites of historic interest within driving distance from the holiday cottage, such Culloden Battlefield or Cawdor Castle or you may choose to try some of the many water sports in this area. The famed Bottle nosed dolphins are regularly seen in the area. Castle Stuart Golf course is the venue for the Scottish Open Golf - a 20 mile drive away from Findhorn and a great chance to see the professionals at work!
