Recently converted, as the name suggests from a former farm building, this is truly a wonderful holiday house with a beautiful and stylish interior, surrounded by the Angus countryside.  Guests will immediately be able to appreciate the quality and taste of the refurbishment with the delightful sitting room complete with wood burning stove, leather sofas and French doors leading out to decking and the uninterrupted views over the fields to the woodland and river beyond.  The kitchen, with a French style dining table and modern island and wall units, has a spacious layout and cooks will love the Rangemaster stove and top of the range appliances.  Three bright spacious bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, sleep up to five guests, and combine style with a comfortable and relaxed feel, whilst the bathroom, with its huge roll top bath provides a touch of sumptuous decadence.  Guests can watch the deer or pheasants from the deck or enjoy relaxing at the seating area near the pond- it is the idyllic setting, peaceful surroundings and the immaculate presentation that makes the Cowshed an ideal retreat.

If the guests can tear themselves away from the Cowshed, they will find this area of Angus is full of things to see and do.  World class fishing and golf courses are within easy reach or guest may prefer to head to the Angus Glens, where walkers of all abilities will enjoy the scenery whether from the top of a Munroe or while strolling along the river bank.  Guests can visit castles, nature reserves, historic villages and stately homes or head to the beaches, cliffs and harbours of Angus coastline, and with all of Scotland’s cities within 2 hours drive this is ideal location for touring Scotland.

The Cowshed can accommodate up to five people, however larger parties may consider using in addition the owner’s other properties nearby, Capo Farmhouse, which can accommodate a further seven and Rowan Cottage, which can accommodate eight.
