Holiday Cottage Details
This delightful detached holiday cottage is surrounded by the glorious countryside of Pitliver Estate in Angus. With a large fully enclosed garden, the self catering cottage is ideal for families or pet owners, and has a delightful decked area ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine and perhaps getting a glimpse of roe deer or squirrels. Recently refurbished, the cottage’s sitting room is beautifully furnished with leather sofas, wooden floor and oak dining table. The kitchen is well equipped and the two bedrooms are bright and comfortable.
As with the other cottages on Pitliver Estate, guest are welcome to use the private 9 hole golf course and to enjoy the surroundings, but for those you wish to venture further a field, this is perfect centre for touring with Edinburgh less than 20 minutes, Highland Perthshire or the stunning Trossachs both within an hours drive.

Golf – in addition to Pitlivers own private 9 hole golf course, which guests are welcome to play on, there are 38 golf courses within Fife itself including the St Andrews and Kingsbarns. With Gleneagles and Carnoustie both approximately an hours drive, this is the ideal holiday location for the keen golfer Sight seeing – with city centre Edinburgh only 20 minutes away, guests can easily visit all the attractions Scotland historic capital has to offer, including the world famous Castle, theatres and galleries. Or head north, with Inverness two hours drive guest can explore the beautiful Scottish highlands, or closer to home the East Neuk of Fife with its pretty fishing towns and stunning coast line is a must. Walking – Enjoy the 150 km of the Fife Coastal Path passing through nature reserves, along cliff tops and past beautiful sandy beaches. Or walk The Lomond Hills, Fife’s highest hills, and enjoy stunning views over the Kingdom of Fife. Historic Properties – visit Dunfermline’s 12th century abbey or Abbots house. Or visit The National Trust for Scotland’s Kellie Castle, Falkland Palace, Hill of Tarvit Mansion House or Culross Palace. Nature and wildlife – Nature lovers will love this area with the Scottish Wildlife Trust having ten reserves in Fife and the National Nature Reserves of Tentsmuir and the Isle of May. The coast line has huge numbers of sea ducks, waders and wildfowl both native and migratory.
