This quaint little fisherman’s cottage, situated in the historic and picturesque village of Kinghorn, oozes romance and character whilst providing first class holiday accommodation. Exposed stonewalls and a log fire give the property the feel of a by gone age contrasting with the Flatsceen TV in the bedroom.
This delightful B listed holiday cottage with its pantile roof dates from 1705 and is situated within a conservation area. Kinghorn itself dates back to the 11th century and is supposedly where King Alexander fell from the cliffs to his death whilst negotiating his way back to Kinghorn Castle in the dark. The "Wee House" is a lovely romantic little house with easy access to Edinburgh.
On the shore of the Firth of Forth Kinghorn although with its own sandy beach, is close to the award winning Aberdour beach. Ideally situated to explore the picturesque East Neuk of Fife and St Andrews, Kinghorn is only 40 minutes from Edinburgh. However with local shops only ten minutes away and the finest pub/restaurant in the Kingdom of Fife at the bottom of the road who want to stray far from this wonderful little cottage.
