Altskeith is a house for all seasons - a really wonderful house with a truly spectacular view. The garden is charming, with sweeping lawns and an enchanting burn runs through it down into the loch. At the bottom of the garden, just across the small road is a private shingle beach and guests are welcome to bring a rowing boat or canoe, alternatively canoes can be hired close by. Altskeith is ideal for a large gathering of family or friends wishing to holiday or celebrate together.

The property itself is exceptionally welcoming and the accommodation is very spacious with a large and comfortably furnished drawing room which features a bay window with views across the waterfall to the loch and the Ben. Three log fires keep the house really cosy on those colder nights. The excellent bedrooms, nine of which are en suite enjoy wonderful loch views. The elegant and spacious dining room seats up to 20 guests so large dinner parties can be enjoyed. There is also a Morning Room with a TV, a large games room complete with a pool table and an open fire. There is a lovely new conservatory with stunning views of the glorious surrounding. Finally, the well equipped breakfasting kitchen has both an Aga and gas cookers making cooking for large numbers an easy option.

Altskeith nestles in the centre of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park - an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are a variety of outdoor activities to be enjoyed in this naturally beautiful area including sailing, clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, fishing, golf and of course superb walks all around.

Accessed from the front courtyard a charming secluded double room with en suite shower room, wc and whb.
