Peacefully located on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, this stunning, newly renovated steading has been skilfully and sympathetically transformed into a wonderful self-contained holiday home.  Surrounded by beautiful, open countryside with a couple of cottages for neighbours, The Steading is ideally placed for exploring the many delights of this glorious part of Scotland.

Great thought and care has gone into creating this comfortable and welcoming retreat, with plenty of style and charm.  The magnificent double-height sitting room with its polished timber floor, exposed beam ceiling and detailed stone wall has great character making it a wonderful place to relax in with family or friends.  Doors lead out onto a furnished decked terrace creating the perfect setting for summer time dining, while the welcoming wood burning stove makes a cosy haven whatever the season. 

The inviting, fully equipped open plan kitchen and dining area gives a great feeling of space with light flooding in from the many windows.  Upstairs, which has been cleverly designed with a Juliet balcony overlooking the sitting room, is home to the master ensuite bedroom and downstairs there are two further delightful bedrooms and a family bathroom complete with a roll top bath.

There are country-side walks to suit everyone straight from the door step with hundreds of miles of forestry walks and cycle routes to follow.  For those who enjoy the pace and culture of a city, The Steading’s central location means that Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Perth with all their attractions are within easy reach.  Golf enthusiast will delight at the many local and championship courses that are nearby – Loch Lomond Golf Club, The Carrick Cameron House Golf Club, Buchanan Castle Golf Club, Balfron and Aberfoyle to name a few - as well as several pony trekking and riding centres.

The Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is a wonderful outdoor experience for all the family to enjoy – there are numerous paths, bridleways and cycle routes to explore and endless wildlife to spot.  Hill walking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, water ski-ing and fishing are all available within the National Park and on Loch Lomond. 

Beautiful Loch Ard with its watersports and activity centre is only 10 miles from The Steading, and The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is even closer; home to the Forestry Commission’s David Marshall Lodge and GO APE (tree top adventure courses and zip wires).
