The house is perfect for a large group like ours, 18 of us,2 children then the ages ranged from 19 to 51, we consisted of familys and friends. The bedrooms were a good size with on sutes. The dinning room was great for our big group as we were self catering and sat at the table for all our meals, we also had our main dinner party sat round the table with games after our meal, its great to keep the group together. The grand piano was played by one of the group which is in the drawing room a quite relaxing room, we used it for one of our games 'Name that tune' The lounge which had the bar next to it and the gamesroom with a pool table was a great room for us all to relax with a few drinks next to a burning log fire. The kitchen was a nice size, with an aga, an electric cooker with another electric cooker in the utility room, a frezzer for the all important ice for your drinks and 3 fridges 1 for raw food, 1 for cooked food and for wines and beers. The house was very clean comfortable and we felt very much at home in the house, it was walking distance into pitlocory which was great for a saturday afternoon walk for the group who all met up in the Mckays pub to watch the rugby, A fantastic house, very clean comfortale and homely a great house for parties with room to escape from the maddness, would definetly go back

I reserved Dunfallandy House for an American team of shooters who were attending matches up at Blair Atholl. We reserved the entire house and were thrilled with the facilities. The home is both comfortable and beautiful and the gardens are gorgeous. John and Stella, our hosts, arranged a fabulous dinner the night we arrived (it was very late), offered pointers on things to do and see and set up a badminton net in the back. Our two children were along - the only children on the trip - and John and Stella took them under their wing. Our youngest is 7 and he followed them around the garden asking if he could help and generally talking their ear off. They were wonderful with him. You felt like you were staying with friends. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly and I very much hope to be back again one day.

Dunfallandy House was chosen as we had members of our party arriving from all parts of the UK, and wanted a central location with amenities - the property more than lived up to our expectations with excellent facilities, superb walking all around, and an idyllic rural setting. Local facilities are many and various, from the Festival Theatre and Port-na-Craig restaurant within walking distance to the shops and pubs of Pitlochry. To cap it all, Stella and John looked after us perfectly, with just the right amount of help. All in all, a fabulous weekend away - we'll be back! Steve Williams Milnathort
