Although set deep in Perthshire, Glen Lyon is only 2 hours drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow and just over an hour west of Perth, making Camusvrachan the perfect holiday cottage to bolt to. 

Set in 5 acres of beautiful and private grounds with a burn, small lochan and its own access to the hills behind, this beautiful holiday cottage in Perthshire is an idyllic and romantic spot.

Situated 8 miles into Glen Lyon with surrounding spectacular scenery, this is the ideal place to escape to peace and tranquility.  Inside, this self catering cottage is comfortable and traditionally furnished with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Dogs are welcome!

If a full party of 8, no more than 6 adults. No cats please.

Accommodation

Ground floor: Sitting room with open fire, dining room, kitchen, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (wc & whb), twin bedroom, bathroom with wc, whb, bath with shower over.

Bothy

Ground floor: Two twin bedrooms with whbs, bathroom with wc & bath with shower over. The bothy accommodation allows extra family members to enjoy their own space.

Activities

Fishing, pony trekking and hill walking are all available locally, (wonderful walks for dogs!)  Aberfeldy, within half an hour's drive,  has a good delicatessen,  Haggarts for tweed, a golf course and swimming pool.
More golf courses at Kenmore and Killin,  and the famous Gleneagles is only 1 hour's drive away.
Ben Lawers provides car parking on the southern side for easy access to the summit, and Pitlochry, Rannoch, Blair Atholl and The House of Bruar are all within easy reach.
