Very peaceful away from it all. Plenty of wildlife. Plenty of space in the house and very comfortable. Lovely roads to cruise on and drink in the splendour Sad to leave and return to the big bad city again!!

Kioma was the best self catering cottage I've ever stayed in. Most don't supply detergents or tissues, Kioma did. A great deal of thought has gone into the utensils and crockery. Although the cottage is for six people the owners supplied enough of everything to feed twelve people. This meant we could fill the dishwasher before using it. The Sky box and broadband were superb finishing touches. I'm glad you aren't asking for anything we found disappointing because there was nothing. If I was starting a holiday cottage business Kioma is the standard I would hope to achieve. May I suggest though, if in the future it would be possible to make the lower bathroom into a wetroom, people in wheelchairs would be able to use it. The changes needed for disabled access would be minimal in this cottage. ( The views and the silence this cottage offers should not just be for the fit and healthy)

Kioma is a fabulous property and I can't fault it! We have stayed twice and each time the house has been spotlessly clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, lovely grounds - though perhaps not suitable for young children becacuse of the steep slope down to the loch, but it is fenced. The house is spacious and the kitchen is wonderful, with more than enough crockery and pans etc all in great condition. There is basic Sky TV and the house is WiFi'd, a great addition. (a bigger TV might be a bonus) Phone signal is excellent there as well. Lots of wildlife of all sorts, a special treat are the pine martens. It is a bit isolated though, with the nearest shop about 3 miles away and Pitlochry for supermarket shopping about 10 miles away. Lovely and quiet, fabulous views and a wonderfully comfortable house. What more can you ask?

If it's peace and quiet you want, look no further. Enjoy the privacy and solitude of this detached property located well away from the road, surrounded by greenery, but with the bonus of lovely views up and down the loch. The property was clean, comfortable and functional, the bright and airy lounge being the focal point with its large picture windows and patio doors framing the views. Watch out for the wildlife in the garden, we were lucky enough to see Red Squirrels and Pine Martens feeding just yards from the house. Although the property is al little out of the way, a ten minute journey will get you to the bustling town of Pitlochry. Relax, soak up your surroundings and enjoy.

Very spacious, well maintained property and well equipped with nice touches - binoculars and bird feeders. Quiet with wonderful views. Good inn nearby. Plenty of activities within an easy driving distance. One of the best cottages we have stayed in.
