This self catering holiday apartment in Perthshire is situated on the ground floor of the Grade A listed Pitfour Castle designed in 1780 by Robert Adam.  Beautifully furnished with top of the range soft furnishings and decor, the apartment has a comfortable sitting room with dining table and working marble fireplace. The master bedroom, with a canopied bed, benefits from an en suite bathroom, whilst the twin room is delightfully furnished in a pretty cottage style.  The kitchen is well equipped, and a further shower room and small study area in the turret, makes this ideal holiday accommodation for both couples and families.  Outside a private courtyard area is ideal for outside dining, and guests are welcome to make use of the 6 acre gardens surrounding the castle.

Golf – with the championship courses of Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles all within an hours drive, in addition to many local courses, this area is paradise for golfers. Touring – with its central location this is the perfect base for touring Scotland.  Guests can explore cities, highland villages, mountainous wilderness and rugged coast lines.  Glasgow and Edinburgh are an hours drive away and Inverness is two hours Fishing – with one of the finest salmon rivers on the doorstep, anglers can spend many happy hours in this area of Perthshire, with many trout and salmon rivers, in addition to hill lochs and fisheries to choose from. Historic properties – visit Scone Palace, Blair Castle or Glamis Castle all within short car journeys Adventure sports – Perthshire is the adventure sports capital of Scotland with rafting canoeing, canyoning and off-roading but a few of the activities on offer.
