Tucked away in the trees by the waterfall, Mill House at Forss is a peaceful, private place in a great undiscovered part of the Highlands. Part of a restored Grade B listed water mill, this superior accommodation blends traditional local materials and features with modern comforts to create a really quirky home which is very special.

For heritage enthusiasts it is one of the finest surviving examples of a 19th century Caithness grain mill. It is situated in a stunning location on the banks of the Forss water, adjacent to a waterfall and against the mature beech woodland setting of the policies of Forss House. Much of the original mill machinery has been retained as part of the conversion and the mill stone and grain shoot have cleverly been incorporated into the interior design.

The accommodation is spread over 3 floors. You enter Mill House on the middle floor which has a modern kitchen with the large open plan living and dining room next door. The top floor has 2 double bedrooms which share a family bathroom. The basement is almost self contained with a further bedroom with small double bed and ensuite bathroom, lounge area with settees and coffee table, utility room and further w/c. There is also space for two z beds.
