“Most enjoyable stay” Sunday 24th May 2015
Meall Mor Lodge is an outstanding large holiday house set within the 19,000 acre Kildermorie Estate. Lying above a bend of the River Alness close to Loch Morie guests will be able to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life in a secluded and tranquil setting. The lodge is within easy driving distance of Inverness, which offers extensive recreational facilities and amenities. Whilst the lodge is sure to play host to a memorable holiday break enjoyed with family or friends, it is equally ideal for sporting parties or corporate entertaining.

The well proportioned house offers first rate self catering accommodation and has been beautifully decorated and furnished with period furniture to ensure that guests enjoy a most comfortable stay in magnificent surroundings. Central heating throughout and roaring log fires in the reception and drawing rooms ensures a warm stay all year round with the fires creating a focal point to relax around on a cold winter’s evening. WiFi internet access is available. 

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are unique in design with one bedroom suitable for disabled guests. With an abundant supply of hot water guests can unwind after a busy day outdoors. A cottage with complete facilities is also available and sleeps two adults and two children and a second self-contained cottage sleeps two adults.

The lodge is in an excellent position for exploring the surrounding estate – home to a variety of wildlife including pine-martens, otters, osprey, falcons, eagles and owls as well as red, roe and sika deer.  Guests can take in the rugged surroundings of the heather covered hills and moors and included within the rental price is fishing on the six lochs from boat or bank as well as bank fishing/wading on one mile of salmon river average 52 salmon abd grilse per annum.

Dogs are not allowed in the lodge however may be accommodated by prior arrangement in the estate kennels.

Welcoming reception hall with granite fireplace, telephone booth, dining room, fully equipped catering kitchen, drying room, separate wcs, 2 twin bedrooms enjoying a quiet situation across the south-facing courtyard (one suitable for disabled guests) with en-suite bathrooms.

First Floor
Open plan sitting room with large fireplace. Separate toilet and whb, 5 double bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms.

By prior arrangement  - Dogs housed in estate kennels.

Inverness with its shopping, castle, St Andrew's Cathedral and proximity to Loch Ness and Culloden battlefield. Golf courses at Castle Stuart, Nairn, Royal Dornoch and Skibo Castle. Castles: Cawdor, Dunrobin and Urquhart. Sea fishing, dolphin and seal watching. Hill walking & Mountain biking.
