Only minutes on foot from the pretty fishing village of Badachro, the newly built Peat House offers excellent accommodation in one of the most picturesque parts of the Highlands. Situated in a quiet location you leave the front door and look out over Badachro Bay on the southern shores of Loch Gairloch and further afield to Torridon and the Isle of Skye.

The house has been cleverly designed with four large bedrooms, three of which have private en-suite facilities and the fourth on the ground floor.  All rooms are spacious with ample storage and walk-in cupboards, a large fully fitted kitchen and separate dining room making it the perfect choice for a family holiday or a group of friends. Gathering at the end of a busy day can be in the lounge round the open log fire, or enjoying the long summer evenings out on the decked patio which can be accessed from patio doors in the lounge and dining room.

Activities

A visit to the Badachro Inn is a must, or just mooching round the former fishing village looking at the yachts moored in the harbour. There are lots of things to do around Badachro even without getting in a car as you are within easy reach of boats for hire, boat trips, excellent beaches, short walks in the nearby hills, longer walks into the mountains. Loch, sea and river fishing and stalking can all be arranged locally.
