Loch Brora, high up the Strath, provides an absolutely idyllic location for this stunning new eco lodge. The lodge has been built at the side of the loch and is surrounded by pristine landscapes, extraordinary peace and privacy and the opportunity to see much of Scotland’s wildlife - this wonderful holiday house is designed to give you a memorable holiday. The eco credentials are impressive with ground source geothermal heating, solar panels, natural and recycled insulation and the estate’s own wood used in the construction as well as locally sourced building supplies and resources.

Inside the house benefits from a double height ceiling lined in wood in the public areas as well as French windows all along the loch side to maximise the view over the loch. There is a partially covered deck outside which is perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink. The spacious kitchen is beautifully equipped and finished. The bedroom wing is on two floors with one bedroom on the ground floor being designed for disabled visitors. All the attractive and stylish bedrooms are en suite with a view over the loch and it is hard to imagine a more beautiful vista to waken up to than this. A small bothy across the courtyard provides an additional single bedsit with en suite bathroom – ideal for a cook or just an extra bed.

Outside you can walk for hundreds of miles, take the boat out on the loch (please be aware that lifejackets are not provided and you should bring your own) and for the keen fisherman you are able to fish the loch but will need to bring your own equipment and it is fly only.

Nearby, be sure to visit Dunrobin Castle and take a trip to the north coast and Caithness or the delightful town of Dornoch with its championship course. You will not be short of things to do in the area but you may well prefer to stay at Struan and drink in the atmosphere of this special place

First Floor
4 twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with bath, shower over bath, wc and whb.

Outside the garden slopes down to the water with views and access to Loch Brora, a decking area and garden furniture.

Additional Accommodation
Bothy with single bedsit and en suite bathroom available at an extra cost of £150 per week.

Included

Linen and towels provided. Electricity and heating included. Use of boat (available mid April to mid October by arrangement and with permission) and fishing on Loch Brora (fly only and from boat) is also included.

TV, Range cooker, eye level grill, 2 dishwashers, “on tap” boiling water, larder fridge, chest freezer, drinks fridge and small fridge, microwave.  2 washing machines. Cot and high chair.

Extra refundable cost: Good Housekeeping Deposit £500 (payable to owner)
