This quaint little traditional holiday cottage lies close to a simply glorious beach in a tiny scattered hamlet on the north coast of Scotland. Inside the house is compact and modestly furnished but it is clean and well equipped and is a fantastic location for an economical holiday. Do not expect luxury and space – do expect stunning views from the small glass porch, a sweet enclosed garden and beach and views that will take your breath away,

This cottage has 3 bedrooms sleeping a total of 5 people and the oil fired Rayburn in the kitchen provides warmth along with the open fire. It makes a perfect base to explore this top coast of Scotland with its soft white beaches, rugged cliffs and stunning landscapes, on a clear day you can see Orkney. Explore the vast Caithness peat lands and be sure to visit John O’Groats and Castle of Mey to the east, former home of the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. The estate can offer free trout fishing on the many hill lochs and fishing one of the limestone lochs may be available by arrangement.
