This beautiful, completely refurbished large holiday house is arguably in one of the best locations in Brodick and a great base for a family holiday.  Opposite the library and village hall, Heathfield is a pitching wedge away from Brodick golf course, and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach.

Heathfield house offers spacious comfortable accommodation for up to ten guests.  Heathfield Cottage is attached to the house and although the properties are rented separately and each have their own entrance, for slightly larger parties the cottage which sleeps four can be rented with the house if it is available.

The generously proportioned building allows guests to spread themselves throughout the various family rooms, with children playing board games or watching television or a DVD in the lounge whilst their parents have a cup of tea in the conservatory.  Various board games and a wide selection of books are provided to keep the family amused while the “Arran mist” swirls outside.

Downstairs, the large lounge contains ample seating, as well as a library area where the children can read or play games.   There is a well-equipped kitchen and adjacent utility room with full washing and drying facilities, ideal for golf clubs and muddy boots, and a downstairs bathroom.  Through double doors from the kitchen is a spacious dining room, which in turn leads through to the conservatory with a view of the garden and Goatfell and Brodick Castle beyond.  The whole of the ground floor is centrally heated by an underfloor heating system. 

Upstairs on the half landing there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with family bathroom that has a large walk-in shower as well as bath.  There is also a separate toilet and wash-hand basin in this part of the house.  Further upstairs is the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, again with a bath and large walk-in shower.  There are then further double and twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Surrounding the property is a very large garden (shared with the cottage) which can easily accommodate your own Highland games, football or rounders competition, and outdoor seating and a picnic table is provided.  There is ample parking on the tarmac driveway, which is also shared with the cottage.
