Inverkeilor is designed for easy living and has a safe enclosed garden. It is in a secluded location in Manse Road, close to the heart of Brodick. Location is everything. You are just a few minutes walk from the islands main shops and within easy reach of an amazing array of activities.
Inverkeilor is a spacious bungalow, refurbished in 2008. From the sitting room there are panoramic views across Glen Cloy to Beinn Nuis, Beinn Tarsuin and Goat Fell. The sunny garden provides privacy and safety.
It is a cottage for all seasons. In the summer you can spill out into the garden or enjoy the bright and airy sitting room. In winter Inverkeilor is warm and cosy. The electric central heating can be controlled room by room. After a long day out you can relax on the veranda and watch the sun go down...or just watch the rain!
Accommodation
Spacious lounge with open-plan dining room for six and extra sofabed. Contemporary fitted kitchen with new appliances and dining for four. Modern bathroom with bath and shower and plenty of hot water. Two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) with fitted wardrobes and sinks. Gated garden with ample parking. Cycle shed.Activities
Within half a mile there are shops to meet almost all your needs, all-weather and grass sports pitches, a skate park, Brodick golf course, tennis courts, play parks, putting and bowling greens, the Heritage Museum, Brodick village hall, library and internet, the Highland Games showground, cycle hire and, of course, the beach. There are restaurants, bars and bistros along the seafront and you can usually take the track through the woods at the top of Manse Road into the Ormidale Hotel.
Within a mile are the ferry terminal, a large Co-op supermarket, a very wide range of cafes and gift shops and the Auchrannie Hotel swimming pool and fitness suite. Within five miles are Brodick Castle and gardens, Goat Fell summit and beautiful Glen Rosa.
Going further afield, you can enjoy the beaches of Kildonan in the south, watch the deer at Lochranza in the north or visit the remarkable standing stones at Machrie in the west. The Isle of Arrans rugged and beautiful landscape, mild climate, sandy beaches and rocky shores, wide seascapes and small villages make it a perfect destination for adult or family holidays. Nowhere in Arran is far away from Brodick. Minutes away from the main ferry terminal, Inverkeilor is in a perfect location for exploring the whole island. The round-island bus stop is 100 metres from the house.

Bedlinen and towels are included. Linen and towels for the sofa bed are not included, but are available on a pay as you use basis. Total control electric central heating, electricity and hot water are also included.
TV with Freeview, DVD player and DVD library, Blu-ray, radio/CD player. Electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave and fridge freezer. Cot and high chair. Garden furniture.
The house is booked Friday to Friday. The benefit of a Friday changeover is that guests can catch the April to October 20.30 ferry from Ardrossan and be enjoying complimentary wine in Inverkeilor by 22.00, even without a car!
Local Facilities
All the facilities of the islands main town are within easy walking distance. Buses across Arran and around the north of the island stop at the bottom of Manse Road. All bus services start or finish in Brodick. From Inverkeilor you can normally drive anywhere on this beautiful island in under 45 minutes.
