fantastic view from the window ,good big rooms ,all you could want from a holiday let.

Excellent accommodation for two couples. Everything we needed. We would love to return.

The only drawback to this lovely location was the winding road to Lamlash. The views over the Holy Isle and the view to Goat Fell were unsurpassalbe. The owners were extremely accomodating. The accomodation was also first class and well maintained. Car essential although the bus service to Brodick or Whiting Bay is good. Extensive garden & peaceful if one wants to get away from the busier centres.

Excellent would want to stay there again in the future.

Birchgrove has an enviable location just outside Lamlash that looks out over the bay and Holy Island. The house has plenty of space and is well equipped for a family or a group of friends. The heating and hot water system made sure we were cosy in the evenings and could take showers etc whenever we wanted. The owners are warm and welcoming and helped out quickly and effectively when a very minor issue arose (a bed sheet missing!!). There was a nice welcome pack on our arrival and a nice send off from them too. We would certainly recommend both this house and Arran itself for a wonderful holiday location.
