Steeped in history, Grade A listed Law Castle dates back to the 15th Century and has been beautifully and imaginatively restored to create a truly unique and splendid holiday house. The castle has a wonderful mix of luxury, history, atmosphere and quirkiness along with the most magnificent views from its windows and parapet.

This house is living history; a place to enjoy and absorb from the splendour of the Great Hall to the  stone spiral staircase, the “murder” hole where hot oil was poured over enemies to the “dungeon” there is nowhere else quite like this! Original stone walls and floors are throughout the castle keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter when the underfloor heating provides a constant heat to the old stone.

Spread over 5 floors, connected by a spiral staircase, Law Castle is not suitable for the less mobile or infirm.  The Great Hall, as tradition dictates, is the heart of the castle with its log fire, stone walls and high beamed ceilings. There is the most unusually located Aga in the cleverly designed kitchen and a wonderful dining table.

The 4 poster bedrooms are spread over the top three floors with the top floor providing a master suite complete with sitting room and access to the parapet. There is a further bed in the ground floor dungeon where a stone bath beckons in the en suite bathroom.

In the unlikely event you want to leave the castle, this area is blessed with things to do with Championship golf courses such as Troon and Turnberry nearby, the beautiful beaches of Ayrshire and the village of West Kilbride itself known as “the Craft Town” an ideal spot for some shopping.

Third floorDouble room, with king size four poster bed, and wood burning stove. Double room, with queen size four poster bed. Bathroom, with roll top bath and window seat.

Fourth floorMaster suite, with super king size four poster bed, and wood burning stove. En-suite dressing room, en-suite TV room, with TV and chaise longue that converts to a double bed. En-suite bathroom.
