Binsness is like an island without the disadvantages. It stands alone on Findhorn Bay surrounded on two sides by water and sheltered by 5000 acres of the Culbin Forest. Just a short walk away, there are beaches that extend 16 miles along the coast to Nairn. Perfect for picnics and ideal for a family summer holiday with plenty of alternatives for all ages.

The Scottish Open Golf Championship 2011 is coming to Castle Stuart this July making Binsness a perfect self catering holiday accommodation less than 20 miles away.

This lovely holiday house dates from the 17th century and has great charm and the extensive refurbishment and redecoration that has been done, provide excellent holiday accommodation for those who enjoy the spaces and beaches and views. The new sun porch and the roof terrace are perfect for enjoying the views over the garden and bay. The house is over a mile from the nearest house but only 5 miles from the attractive town of Forres.

The garden is fabulous and was once open to the public with an avenue of Irish Yews leading down to the sea. Binsness is over a mile from the nearest house but only 5 miles from the pretty town of Forres mentioned in Macbeth.

Findhorn is a lovely spot well known for its microclimate and reputedly has the third highest sunshine count in the British Isles. It is a perfect spot to explore Scotland as you are within easy reach of the Cairngorms, the Speyside whisky trail, the beaches and golf courses of the Moray coast and of course the now renowned dolphins who live in the Moray Firth.
