With glorious views over the famous River Spey and down the Spey valley, Kinermony House is set in wonderful grounds and is a fine example of Scottish restoration architecture. The house itself is elegant and welcoming with excellent accommodation spread over four floors, which includes mostly en-suite bedrooms and boast impressive views. Nicely decorated and furnished with antiques, the house has lovely welcoming open fires in the public rooms and the very large kitchen is bright and well equipped with a seating/TV area at one end and a dining area to enjoy informal meals at the other. More formal dinners can be had in the dining room. The atmospheric basement billiard room is perfect for a game or two on evenings and rainy days.
Outside, the attractive large walled garden makes up part of the six acres and the rest of the land is composed of well kept lawns and wooded area. Steep banks lead to the river and also to a small burn so very young children will need to be supervised. This large holiday house is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area and offers a wonderful Scottish holiday experience.
