Approached by a long lane, the last few miles of which becomes a private sandy track the property is secluded and private being bound by grounds totaling 110 acres.
Originally dating from the 17th century, the property was recently refurbished and extended to create comfortable and warm self catering holiday accommodation with the addition of an oil central heating system. There is a spacious and cosy kitchen which features an Aga and a dining room for more formal evening dinner parties. The holiday accommodation further features a porch with window seats and a charming small roof terrace which are perfect vantage points in which to sit back, relax and enjoy the sea views. Set in such large grounds there is room for children to explore outside and the garden is a delight to behold with an avenue of Yew Trees leading down to the sea.
The area surrounding the house offers a wealth of activities and there are varied outdoor pursuits to try. There are a number of golf courses near by or you may choose to while away the hours beachcombing. Should you be particularly interested in walking and hill climbing, the beautiful Cairngorms are within easy driving distance. Sites of historic interest such as Culloden Battlefield which played host to the last battle fought on British soil, are in the area as is the Loch Ness, renowned worldwide as home to the elusive monster.

Activities:
- Findhorn Bay is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and boasts wonderful wildlife such as seals and ospreys.
- There is a local golf course at Forres and the Championship course at Nairn. Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle and Culloden Battlefield within easy reach.
- Aviemore and the Cairngorms within an hour and Loch Ness just over one hour.
- Roe stalking and rough fishing can be arranged. Sailing and water ski-ing may be available by arrangement in Findhorn.
- Riding lessons available nearby. Visit the Speyside Whisky Distilleries.
