An extremely attractive and comfortable country estate perfect for a family gathering.
Corrybrough Lodge sits in a beautiful location just above the Findhorn River with wonderful views across field and woodland. There are red squirrels and deer on the estate which you are likely to meet if you choose some of the many lovely walks around the 5,000 acre estate. Fishing can be arranged through the estate office. The services of a housekeeper are included for three hours a day at a time to suit you. The area has a wealth of activities within easy reach of Corrybrough so you will not be short of options in the unlikely case that you tire of this beautiful countryside.
The Lodge itself is a delightful, family home with great traditional character - filled with antiques and items that reflect the family history. The open fires, numerous well equipped rooms and the wonderful terrace with its views down to the river make this special house - somewhere to look forward to returning to at the end of a day and a great house for socialising. The 5 twin bedrooms on the first floor offer comfortable and flexible accommodation whilst the twin bedroom on the second floor, has more modest decoration and low ceilings that are perhaps more suitable for children. The large billiard/games room is wonderful and has seen many an hour of enjoyment in the evenings whilst the lovely gardens and terrace are perfect for evening barbeques and for children to play and explore.
Tomatin is a short distance from the busy city of Inverness which has all the facilities you could need, and an easy drive to the lovely beaches of Morayshire where you may be lucky enough to see the dolphins. The atmospheric site of Culloden is well worth a visit and you can readily enjoy a day sampling the famous Speyside whiskies at the distilleries which are nearby.
