Guinach House is a wonderful Edwardian villa situated above the town of Aberfeldy with views over the Perthshire countryside to Ben Lawers, Schiehallion and Farragon beyond. This enchanting country house is surrounded by 2 acres of mature gardens complete with pathways, trees, shrubs and a small stream, and where guests may be lucky enough to glimpse some of the local wildlife including roe deer, red squirrels and pheasants.
The house has been sympathetically modernised whilst retaining all the original character and charm of a by gone age. A stylish sitting room with open fire, together with a comfortable TV room offer flexible accommodation for groups of friends and family alike, whilst an elegant dining room is a wonderful room to enjoy both relaxed and more formal dining. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped, and benefits from a breakfasting table and fabulous views, whilst upstairs four spacious bedrooms, all en suite, again offer flexibility for larger groups, with zip link beds and bunks sleeping up to 11 people, and all have stylish comfortable decor.

Activities:
- Walk form the house to the Falls of Moness - the inspiration for Robert Burns song “The Birks O’Aberfeldy”
- Highland Perthshire has more than its fair share of distilleries - Dewars Whisky Distillery in Aberfeldy is well worth a visit.
- This area is Scotland’s Watersports Capital with over 35 different activities to choose from, including white water rafting, kayaking, sailing and water-skiing - white water rapids between Aberfeldy and Grantully offering world class canoeing and rafting
- Walking - with five Munros on the doorstep including the National Nature Reserve Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, and many other well known mountains in the near vicinity to attract climbers all year round, in addition to many beautiful low level walks.
- Mountain bilking – can be hired locally and the owner, a keen fan, can advise and guide on routes. Undercover storage can be provided for guests own bikes
- Retail opportunities include The House of Bruar (30 minutes), House of Menzies with a fine collection of New World wines, a Scottish Fayre and café, The Aberfeldy Watermill book shop.
- Highland Safaris - 4x4, walking or biking safaris can be arranged through some of Scotland’s prettiest scenery
- Visit Ben Lawers designated a National Nature Reserve due to its abundance of rare alpine flora
- Visit the Crannog Centre, a reconstruction of an iron age Loch dwelling.
- Fishing for trout and salmon can be arranged locally
- There are several local golf courses including Aberfeldy Parkland 18 hole course (0.5 miles), Taymouth Castle designed by James Braid (designer of Carnoustie and Gleneagles), and a challenging 9 hole course at Killin
