Benmore Cottage is a distinctive blue roofed holiday house at the heart of a small crofting community. It is perfectly situated, accessed by a crofting track then up a short hillside path. The country cottage has an abundance of character whilst being comfortable and homely.
As the cottage is situated on the foothills of Benmore itself the sun-porch boasts impressive views of the hills, lochs and islands. The area is a green oasis nominated a nature reserve by the Scottish Wildlife Trust and is a treat for bird watchers.
Achiltibuie is a joy and on of the most beautiful areas where you can enjoy clear sea beaches, engaging walks, loch and sea fishing. Fresh local sea food is also available.
Accommodation:
Ground floor: Large sun porch/sitting room, kitchen/dining area, one twin bedroom.
First floor: One double bedroom, two single bedrooms, bathroom with bath, whb, wc.
Activities: Achiltibuie has a Michelin starred hotel and a separate cafe/bistro/bar. By the hotel is a Gallery and at Altandhu is a pub serving food. The rebound Hydroponicum is currently closed but you can visit its "little brother" near the internationally famous smokehouse.

Local facilities:
Village shop 4.5 miles / hotel 3.5 miles. Also a well stocked store at Achiltibuie with petrol pumps. There is another shop at Polbain with a near by craft shop.
