Achnasheen Lodge on the edge of Loch a’Chroisg enjoys private views across easily some of the most spectacular scenery in the Scottish Highlands. The shooting Lodge, with an abundance of character, provides a friendly atmosphere and is an excellent base for a family holiday with room to relax and explore.
The sitting room is dominated by a wonderful window which faces west up the loch providing far reaching views. The oil fired Rayburn in the kitchen adds to the atmosphere and is beautifully set into an arch stone fire place. The quirky attic bedrooms are ideal for children making bedtime exciting!
All in all the property makes a superb place from which to enjoy a varied Scottish holiday experience.

Activities:
- Approximately 40 miles west of Inverness, Achnasheen is set at the gateway to such places as Lochcarron where you can follow the "Pass of the Cattle " to Applecross and on into dramatic Torridon, Loch Maree up to Gairloch and on to Inverewe Gardens.
- There is a post office and hotel in Achnasheen and Lochcarron (20 miles) has a wider range of facilities.
- Salmon and trout fishing; there is approx 5 miles of the River Bran which is good for brown trout available at an extra charge by prior arrangement with CKD Galbraith Sporting department 01738 451600. A boat is moored on the loch just below the Lodge.
