Dating back to the 14th century Bardmony House was originally attached the monastery at Coupar Angus. Extended and modernised throughout the ages, the beautiful Georgian wing today provides holiday accommodation that is both elegant and comfortable.  With uninterrupted and stunning views across the Vale of Strathmore, guests can enjoy the extensive grounds together with the peace and tranquillity that surrounds Bardmony.

This large holiday house complete with family portraits, is full of original period features with charming and tasteful décor and furnishings throughout.  The dining room is a magnificent setting for candlelit dining, whilst the cosy sitting room with its graceful elegance has beautiful French doors that lead to the gardens.  Comfortable bedrooms and luxurious period bathrooms provide a restful ambience, whilst the well-equipped kitchen has everything a cook could wish for.

This area of Perthshire has much to offer the sportsman with two local golf courses at Alyth, and Blairgowrie’s renowned Rosemount course only 15 minutes drive away.  In addition the championship courses at Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St Andrews are all within easy reach.  Fishermen, too, will love the area with the magnificent salmon river of the Tay nearby, not to mention the North and South Esk, and local fishing can be arranged on the River Ericht.  Visit the romantic castles of Glamis, Blair and Scone Palace or walk in the Angus Glens.  This fantastic historic property can be the perfect base in a part of Scotland that has something for everyone.
