At the foot of Glenisla, one of the five Angus glens, there is something for everyone in this area of Perthshire. Visit distilleries, castles, nature reserves, historic villages and stately homes - the list is endless. Walkers can stroll along forest walks or along river valleys or venture out on some of the more challenging hill walks including the many Munros in the area. Golfers have the choice of seven golf courses all within a10 minute drive not to mentioned the sixty within an hours drive, and in winter skiers can visit Glenshee ski resort, half an hour away, and ice climbers can tackle some of the most challenging ice climbs to found in Glen Clova.
After a hard days sight seeing return to the Steading, exhausted, open the French doors out to the south facing courtyard enjoy a seat on the garden furniture, and simply marvel at the breathtaking views over the fertile Perthshire farmland.
With three other cottages within the Steadings, a party of up to 12 can be accommodated.
