The traditional dormer windows in both upstairs bedrooms enhance the character of the cottage and the king size main bedroom is perfect for those lazy mornings. The enclosed garden creates a perfect place to sit out and enjoy an evening glass of wine and is also an ideal place for children to play.
The estate is renowned for its wonderful woodland and has many fantastic walks. Step out from the door and head off through tree lined avenues, along paths or up the surrounding hills to one of the romantic follies from where you will see the fantastic views over the castle, town and glens beyond.

Inveraray (1 mile) is one of Scotland’s most interesting and historic towns with many places to visit including Inveraray Jail, Inveraray Castle, The Maritime Museum and the Bell Tower with its excellent views. There is also a good range of shops, restaurants and cafés as well as a 9 hole golf course, tennis court and a swimming pool in the local Loch Fyne Hotel.
The surrounding area has numerous forestry and hill walks, mountain biking, wildlife and fishing as well as loch cruises, wonderful gardens and ruined castles.
Argyll Adventure Park (3 miles) offers a fun filled day for the whole family with horse riding, laser blast arena, laser clays, bungee trampolines, climbing wall and café and picnic area.
Oban with all its attractions, full range of shops and ferry services to Mull and the islands is just over an hour’s drive away.
Towering over the banks of Loch Awe is the challenging climb of Ben Cruachan (1126m) or you can venture inside and view the fascinating hydro-power station and visitor centre.
The famous Loch Fyne Oyster bar, restaurant, smokery and shop is only a few miles down Loch Fyne at Cairndow.
