The cottage is convenient  for the heritage museum, Duchess Court shops (Arran Aromatics, The Cheese Shop and Creelers), the Wineport, the Arran Brewery and is also not far from the shops, cafés and hotels of Brodick village.  Brodick Castle is nearby and with a world class collection of rhododendrons and many lovely walks the Castle gardens are a wonderful day out.
