This unique and charming little lodge has great character and its quirky rooms and peaceful location make it ideal for a romantic retreat or comfortable base for a couple. The lodge is a two-storey lodge cottage with access gained from the base of the high stone arch.

Inside, the Gatehouse has a comfortable interior with considerable character from the semi-round rooms to the spiral staircase ad a welcoming open fire to return to at the end of the day. Peacefully set within the privacy of the Duns Castle Estate, it is only half a mile from the town and is surrounded by wonderful walks across the estate.

Linen provided, not towels. Towels can be hired at £3 per person. Heating, electricity and solid fuel for fire included during summer months. During Oct - May there is a charge payable to the owner of £12/week for fuel/electricity.
