On the shores of Loch Fyne, with Inveraray Castle as the focal point, Argyll Estates over 50,000 acres of wonderful highland scenery and is a marvellous setting for a holiday of your choice. You can park the car and relax and unwind, enjoying the facilities on offer within the estate or you can use the estate as a base for visiting the numerous attractions in the area.
An imposing traditional stone built house, set on the banks of the River Aray which runs through the estate grounds. In the heart of the estate, The Mill House offers spacious accommodation of a high standard in a very private setting, surrounded by a large area of garden ground with access to the river. An ideal base for a family holiday, The Mill House is also available for sporting parties with fishing and stalking by arrangement. As the name implies this is the former mill house and the ruin of the mill, which is a listed building, can be seen below the house. Guests have the benefit of free entry in to the Castle, during open season.

Activities:
- Visitors are very welcome on this working agriculture and sporting estate, with the Castle open to the public and many trails detailed for walking.
- Sea fishing for mackerel can be arranged.
- The picturesque town of Inveraray sits on the lochside and has a maritime museum, a refurbished county jail, an imposing church in the town centre and a selection of shops and restaurants.
- Oban and the west coast make an interesting day trip and places of interest near at hand include Crarae Gardens, Auchindrain Township, a view of yesteryears lifestyle and Ardkinglas Woodland Gardens at Cairndow.
- Fresh seafood, and estate venison, are available locally.
