Set above the banks of beautiful Loch Awe with clear views to Ben Cruachan, this outstanding conversion of a traditional Scottish byre is the perfect setting for a special holiday. Once the cow barn for the neighbouring farmhouse this building has been transformed into an inspiring, modern holiday house.
One of the highlights of this stunning home is the stylish open plan living area. This gloriously bright room with its large windows, clean lines and striking red kitchen gives a wonderful contemporary feel, yet the wood burning stove and sumptuous leather sofas allow it to be relaxing and cosy. All three bedrooms are equally fresh and elegant with two of them having linking beds allowing a choice between twin or super-king sleeping. The downstairs bedroom has the luxury of a large ensuite wet room which is ideal for less-abled guests. Attention to detail is evident throughout Collaig Byre with everything you could need for a truly relaxing self-catering holiday – a fully-equipped kitchen, crisp cotton bed linen, generous fluffy towels and many other touches.
Dreamy Scottish views of glens, mountains and loch can be enjoyed from Collaig’s five acres in this secluded and tranquil location - this is a beautiful part of Argyll and one of the most picturesque areas of Scotland, famous for its spectacular castles, coast and wildlife.
